This is a rather pointless backtrack. He said faith is important, but he would support someone who didn’t take their faith seriously.
He would support a Muslim who didn’t believe in the basic tenets of their faith????
In other words as long as they are a FAKE MUSLIM, then he could support them. If they are willing to pretend to be a FAKE Muslim, then maybe they could be a real Muslim faking to be a Fake Muslim.
The fact of the matter is that as long as a Person is a follower of Mohammed and the Koran, they should not be trusted with the office of the Presidency.
I really liked Ben Carson’s unscripted answer about Islam.
I really don’t like his mealy mouthed backtracking.
The ten points he earned before have been subtracted - and then some.
Any gains he made by being honest have been undone by his new statement that he would support a dishonest Muslim as long as they are dishonest.
I wonder how he rates that with being a dishonest politician which we have so many of.
However, P-M, I watched Carson on stage last week, and he definitely ad libs deep responses. You can see him thinking his way through them. In the same way that Trump spurts out answers and gets a bit of leeway because of that from me, I'll give Carson a bit of leeway as well. Only a little.
My lineup is still Cruz, Trump, Carson. Of the others, those on my list are Huckabee, Paul, Santorum, and Rubio. I don't really want any of the others.
