Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) will get an assist Tuesday from one of Hillary Clinton’s chief antagonists at a fundraiser supporting his presidential campaign.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi — which has relentlessly examined Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s role in the attack on a U.S. mission in Libya — will be the featured guest, according to Florida Politics.
Florida Politics also reported that the event, which will charge a minimum $2,000 per couple, will be hosted by real estate investor Harlan Crow and his wife Kathy at their palatial home in Highland Park, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Crow, an avid art collector, counts works by Renoir, Monet, and Adolf Hitler among his holdings.
Rubio has been moving aggressively to court Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's donors. The event comes a day after Walker's decision to exit the race and after Rubio’s campaign poached Walker’s New Hampshire campaign co-chair, Cliff Hurst.

I’ve long said that Gowdy is an establishment hack who merely plays the part of a Law and Order Conservative in the big D.C. Kabuki theater.

I’ve known Gowdy was a GOPee Party Person ever since he trashed Steve King, one of the best people in Congress on the immigration issue. For some time I’ve been saying how bad Rubio is and mentioned how bad Gowdy is but some people just can’t accept that their “conservative” heroes are cocktail party RINOs.
One of the best results of having Trump in the race is that the turncoats are forced to expose themselves. If I wait, I don’t even have to tell people anymore. It is very obvious now which candidates are for the citizens of this country and which are not.
I’m sure the GOPees are hoping people get caught up in the horse race of the election and forget the money men behind the curtain. Bread and circuses to appease the masses so they and their crony buddies can keep control.

I’ve wondered if he is a little light in the loafers like his fellow South Carolinian, Prissy Lindsey Graham. Looks like Gowdy supports amnesty as much as prissy Lindsey does.
