This is personal to me. “Go Gold for Childhood Cancer” is the theme for September Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
The Empire State Building, which will go multiple colors for everything from gay causes to sports teams has refused to go gold for childhood cancer. Their choice, but it’s so cold in its decision making.
And now the rainbow white house kicks cancer-stricken kids out when they try to ‘go gold’ with hundreds of candles.
Childhood cancer is scary...deadly...but what have these little kids done.
Lauren Hill, deceased now, basketball player who raised over a million bucks for childhood cancer, and herself a childhood brain cancer patient, wasn’t considered for ESPN’s ‘courage in sports award’, but it went instead to Bruce Jenner, who’d donned a skirt and makeup to help beat a traffic death charge.
If they were sick Muslim children, they would have been ushered right into the WH to meet the Imam-in-Chief.
Didn’t that happen because of Da Pope’s visit?
The Praetorian Guard acted stupidly.
Remember when they shut vets out of national parks, but let the illegals hold a rally..

They had no problems letting muslims gather there
Should have carried rainbow flags. They would have opened the White House for them.
Good for the Secret Service. They have shown the world they are 100% ready and able to protect the president from a small group of cancer-stricken children.
Their reputation has been rehabilitated. This is a real feather in their cap...

Good news Secret Service and Park Police.
Some of these kids won’t be remembering your crass behavior for very long.
Shame you couldn’t have thought of that in real time.
For many people going to Washington, D. C. is a once or even a few times in life event. You travel all the way there, and pack in what you can while you’re there.
Here are kids trying to participate in the process, and this is at least part of their exposure to Washington, D.C.
I don’t always go bonkers on efforts for kids, but this is one that should have been treated better. 700 people’s efforts are a lot of efforts to just smack down.
[We ended up waiting at the gates for two hours, and they never let us in, said Natasha Gould, an 11-year-old from Canada who started a blog after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor this year. And to be clear, the entire crowd was half kids. I cried last night in my hotel room because it was my first CureFest, and I couldnt believe people were acting like they dont care about children.]
Was there a tee time after the CBC event?
