No European country `can be exempt` from taking in refugees: Hollande

Tangiers: No European country can get out of taking in refugees who have the right to asylum, French President Francois Hollande said Sunday, amid a growing row over how to fairly distribute a massive influx of migrants across the continent.

The re-distribution "must involve all European countries -- no one can be exempt or we would no longer belong to the same union built on values and principles," Hollande said during a visit to Morocco, ahead of Wednesday`s EU crisis summit on a contentious proposal to spread 120,000 refugees across member states.

Hollande told a press conference in Tangiers he had instructed his Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve to defend the plan for mandatory quotas at a meeting of his counterparts on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday`s full summit of all 28 EU leaders.

"We will ensure that this mechanism is effective regardless of its terms, that commitments can be kept and that it`s not always the same countries who are receiving the refugees," the French leader said.

A number of eastern European countries, notably Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, have rejected the idea of accepting a share of migrants under national quotas that reflect populations and economic strength.

Like forcing cancerous tumors in every organ, as to not make any one feel uninvolved in the eventual death.

The Vichy French did the same for German “refugees” back in 1940. Of course back then the refugees relied on the power of tanks. The new ones are relying on the power of political correctness.

A recipe for disaster.

Once again the French are leading the way to cultural suicide.

If Europe is foolish enough to take in millions of Muslim “refugees”, they deserve them.

Hey snail slurper...it would seem that if they have a 'right' to asylum(?), they have a right to asylum in France.

I have it on good authority they do not wish to settle there. Something about having lived in the sand most of their lives, and French hygiene fell below their customary standard.

What is it about French politicians that creates an overwhelming urge to b!tch slap them into next week?

Under the fragile veneer of European enlightenment fascism lays in wait to respond to the growing chaos.

Smaller European countries will reject a mandatory quota system.

If Germany and France want to really push it, it will mean the end of the EU.

Perfect timing for the Euro-subsidized Airbus A380.

All economy seating for 853 immigrants (and possibly a few goats).

Round trip from Paris to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia approximately 24 hours.

With just 10 A380's, we could re-settle all 750,000 refugees to the oil rich Persian Gulf before Christmas (whoops, is it still legal to mention "Christmas" in Europe?).

The old fable about how in winter a farmer finds a nearly frozen viper and taking pity on it puts it inside his shirt only to have it bite him when it warms up. As the farmer lays dying he says “I blame myself, for I knew what your were when I picked you up.”. Comes to mind.

Why just European countries?

Asian countries are terribly racist in policies. I’m series.

Why is nobody demanding they accept refugees?

Hmm?
