Host of Fox News Sunday Chris Wallace grilled GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina on the fact that while she was CEO of Hewlett-Packard, the company was illegally doing business with Iran.
“Finally, there’s a question that some of your rivals have brought up, and that is Iran.” Wallace said. “At the time you were head of HP, there was a ban on any U.S. companies doing business with Iran. But while you were the head of the company, a European subsidiary of HP sold hundreds of millions of dollars of computer equipment to Iran.”
“The SEC ended up investigating HP for what it said was violation of the sanctions against Iran,” he continued. “How do you respond to that?”
Fiorina said in her defense that HP was “larger than each of the 50 states. It’s a larger budget than any one of our 50 states and a global enterprise. And so it’s impossible to ensure nothing wrong ever happened, the question is what do you do when you find out?”
“Are you saying you didn’t know about it?” Wallace asked.
“In fact, the SEC investigation proved that neither I nor anyone else in management knew about it…” she insisted.

Carly’s getting the Chris Wallace Treatment. It’s almost her turn at the Chopping Block. Not quite yet though. Fox News won’t go all out at destroying Carly until after she ‘destroys’ Trump, as they are hoping and expecting.
What if Carly has had enough of their games, turns to face the camera and says “Karl Rove, please stop emailing me with Donald Trump Updates every 15 minutes!! I am not interested. I have “Unsubscribed” from your News Alerts twice, and STILL I keep getting them.

I'm not a fan of Carly Fiorina but this seems pretty attenuated. It's not quite 6 degrees of separation, but she's being accused of wrongdoing based on a company doing business with Iran that worked with another company that worked with HP.

Sorry Charley, an iran sale should have been a red flag... There is no “I didn’t know “ about it. It was her job to know about it.
She wasn’t being asked to know about a sale that HP made. She was being asked to know about a sale made by a company that did business with a company that did business with HP. How would you even go about finding out about sales that a company you don’t do business with is making?
