What I remember about German gals was that they were as cute as could be in their early 20’s, but at age 30 they suddenly looked middle aged (I was 34 then).

In the summer of 1983 there was a heat wave in Germany, got all the way up to 85 deg.F. Women went topless anyplace there was a body of water. I loved it of course, but sun damage to a woman’s breasts cannot be undone.

And cigarette billboards were everywhere.
