why not just get bush to run as a democrat
You probably say that in jest, but I did float the idea back in early summer of a Democrat ticket of Clinton/Bush and a Republican ticket of Bush/Clinton. I was not jesting, joking or anyway being flippant. I was dead serious.
That seems to be the way the UniParty really wants things to be.
There is that, run Jeb with Hillary that is. Of course, this Romney stuff is a distraction while the GOPe tries to come up with a plausible candidate who has the resume that fits the massive, maybe impossible, job of rebuilding this country. My financial contribution, Trump does not need it, goes to Cruz for his superior intelligence which he has used to support this Republic, and his extensive experience in the legal field which has made him an expert on constitutional law. Donald Trump also is highly educated and has life experience in all fields relating to business and commerce and the related knowledge of the mentality of both friend and foe of the US. I trust them both because they are each solid Americans whom I expect to put America first and to be fair and honest in the implementation of their elected offices.

And Hillary and the rats can run as socialists. Bernie can run as a marxist.
Or Romney could run as a Dem. Why go third party? He can take credit for being the original architect of Obamacare.
