Would certainly explain Ann’s wild vacillations in her political proclivities.
LOL nice try! It was YOU that was over the top inferring that Coulter would use the racist term that flowed so easily from your fingers.
So to sum it up if you don't have a rational way to debate you can just drop the n word?
Got it.
Sorry it is NEVR legitimate to use a racist slur. Especially when it is used to further your agenda of hate for Coulter.
And it is frowned upon by management here.
Ann has a long history of supporting Israel. Her tweet was badly worded, but it's clear from the context it was not malevolent. She was saying the same things during the first debate, "Why are you wasting time talking about this and not immigration!?" etc etc.
Post #7 - C’mon Cripplecreek, you know she was being tongue-in-cheek.
You weren’t happy with the checkmate I put you in, so you flipped over the chess board. You sound like you have a drinking problem to boot.
If somebody in the public eye says something stupid, they're likely to be attacked for it, regardless of what they claim they intended.
I don't think it's a question of Ann being anti-Semitic or hating Jews. The way I understand it, her comment wasn't primarily directed at Jews, but rather at pandering to the Evangelical bloc.
But if you say something stupid or (I have to use the word here) insensitive, you take your lumps for it. If you want to be incendiary or inflammatory, sometimes you just get burned, and you can't blame anybody else for that.
i don't think Ann's problem is saying stupid things. i think her problem is that lots of people (especially on the other side) hear 2nd hand about things she's said or written (and especially out of context) and are just looking for an opportunity to be outraged. she's smart as a whip. i don't agree with her 100% of the time, but i admire her for being willing to say non-PC things in a time of extreme political correctness. the charge of her being anti-semitic is so outlandish i never considered it for a moment.
this whole thing reminds me of that gay democRAT aide to the mayor in Washington DC who said "niggardly" at a press conference where a handful of black reporters were present. since they didn't know the word, they assumed it was some sort of racial epithet. it isn't. it's just an old word that means "stingy". anyway, they raised hell and this guy lost his job. not because he did anything wrong... he lost his job solely because the people who were outraged were ignorant (i.e. uninformed) and made assumptions about a word they didn't know rather than pulling out a dictionary, and thus creating enough of a PR problem that he had to be let go. of course that case amused me since it was a democRAT in hot water, but the lesson to take from that is that at some point, the mob demands their brand of justice no matter how illegitimate their complaints may be. i think this was an effort by the liberal media to ensnare Ann in the same sort of situation. i'm glad she's stuck by her guns. the principle is worth fighting for.
Yes, it would.
LOL more personal attacks!
I have no problem deflecting some of the hate for Coulter on to me.
Apparently you don’t know the first rule of holes.
She can spin all she wants today. It doesn’t change her tweet which spoke for itself. The mask slipped off and she probably is realizing that this is the end of her career and doing damage control today.
Our country is only worth saving if it has a moral compass. So her comment that she would even be ok with Trump performing abortions in the White House provided he passed his immigration plan is reprehensible.
It's clearly hyperbole, but your abortion politics are pointless if immigration isn't fixed
Oh, she is definitely unstable, but that doesn't mean I don't like her or will stop liking her.
Why do so many conservatives think that they have to be 100% all in with the people they like or support? The mentality seems to be like if someone doesn't literally share a brain with you, you must shun them forever. Such a limiting trait.
I heart crazy as a loon Ann Coulter and I'm proud of it!! LOL!!
A lot of conservatives do think that, you're right..but I don't. I don't share a brain 100% of the time with my husband, so I wouldn't expect to do so with any politician or pundit, no matter how strongly I might be in his or her corner.
But let me be clear---Ann Coulter is not one of those people. I neither like nor support her. When a person tweets "blanking Jews", or that she doesn't care if Trump does abortions in the White House, or that Cruz wasn't born in this country, or when she writes in her latest book that nothing matters except immigration---including the right to life---then I understand the person is a morally bankrupt moron.
