Yes, which is why he shouldn’t have built it requiring 120VAC. It should have been designed to just run off of a battery. And who made those manufacturer-quality printed circuit boards with the perfect soldering? It’s just a store-bought digital alarm clock with the parts stripped out and put into another case.
