Is it the ability or the will to fight back?
Sometimes you do not have to disarm them just give them distractions or analgesics like marijuana, NFL, Farcebook, Dancing with the Losers, or porn at your fingertips. Couple that with high unemployment and high taxes/regulations and people become numb and just do not care anymore.
Often wondered why they didn’t offer some Straw Dogs type resistance. Maybe some did. Maybe they didn’t know their fate and had false hope of internment just for the war. But if I had any clue, I sure as hell would have taken out a few stormtroopers when they enetered my villa.
