This is ridiculous. The only person that would follow the “Jesus” on the right is someone who has little or no knowledge of the contents of the bible.

That seems to be what so many want these days. Watered-down faux-Christian teaching by TV preachers who don’t even believe half of what they say.

Hmm. The greatest commandment was to love one another...

I think you are dead right and having help teach a Bible study class I have seen it as you have.
I think the Left Behind series of books did a great disservice to so called Christians who in their hearts are afraid of the Tribulation that is to come. Jesus made it clear that if He does not return or cut short the days when He does there would be none of us left. I bought it up in answer to a Rapture question and needless to say they were not happy to hear it. There are many in churches that are weak in their faith and know it. They come to church for all the wrong reasons. I know, judge not lest you be judged. I am guilty of that but I cannot stand feel good and tell me what I want hear preachers.
To: Foundahardheadedwoman
The churches are watering down the bible to get people to fill the pews. We need to hear what Jesus says about sin as much as we need to hear that he loves and forgives us too.
