Addressing the Russian top brass on Wednesday, Vladimir Putin lambasted U.S. Middle-East policy for being 'disastrous' as Saudi-backed rebels vowed to purge Syria and Iraq from Christians and other ethnic and religious minorities.
"We have nearly two million orthodox Christians in the LevantSyria and Lebanon and approximately 5 million Christians across Middle-East. Regardless of America's presidential election outcome, White House craves chaos in that oil-rich region by supporting fanatic Islamist organizations, i.e. ISIS and al-Nusra Front," Moskovskaya Pravda cited the Russian president as saying.
It is morally incumbent upon Russia to change this terrible status quo in the Middle-East , added Mr.Putin , prepare for operation 'Salvation' and with God almighty's aid , we shall cleanse Syria from Obama's ruthless terrorists.
Still, interesting story, if true.
Title shortened to fit, Full Title is:
"Putin to Russian army officers: operation 'Salvation' shall begin soon, you must prepare to cleanse Syria from Obama's terrorists"
Good!
I resent Obama getting all the credit for ISIL. Juan McCain is just as responsible and he’s a military hero. He knows what he’s doing.
From looking at the hardware he’s putting in Syria, I’d say he’s getting serious.
Saudi Arabia could be taken out in a week. Get rid of SA and most of the world’s problems will soon disappear. Do they even have an army?
darn it! I think we ought to help them. If we can’t do anything ourselves cause we’re too stupid, then lets back the Ruskies! You can’t make a mistake if your killing radical Muzzies!
I’m not for either dog in that fight.
Not for Obama, who always has the wrong motive, or Putin, who nearly always has the wrong motive, while both ALWAYS lie about their motive.
Putin for President !?? (mostly joking...)
Putin, doing what American Leadership doesn’t have the balls to do? Saudi Wahhabism is the cause of the problem and we are doing Saudi Arabia’s bidding why? $$$$$$$$$$
You mean that I will have more in common with Putin’s goals than the POTUS?
Man...is the US far gone now or what? (rhetorical...of course)
Interesting but cannot find much corroboration online. If true.... how the world has turned....
Only between prayer times...
Both men did a lot to destroy respect for the U. S. based on Libya and Syria.
We should have stayed out of both situations.
Now Putin is going to play it up that we support ISIS.
Good luck countering that John, Barack...
I still believe there is a strong likelihood that Obama and McCain bumbled into helping create ISIS, or at least arm and provide financial support.
Of course they thought they were supporting the good terrorists... al Qaeda. LOL Good?????
Two bigger fools our nation hasn’t seen very often.
Ugh, we have a President who never mentions the ISIS ethnic cleansing of Christians and Non Muslims.
Very sad that Putin can use this. Obama has destroyed us.

I sure hope so.
Yeah, they have pretty much everything in our foreign military sales portfolio. Basically, they have the same stuff as Egypt (Abrams tanks, Jets etc...) they just don’t have as large of a standing army (28th in the world).
The Soviets deployed about 100,000 troops at a time to Afghanistan, which was not enough to occupy and conduct counter-insurgency. I’d like to see a single surge of 100,000 to Syria as soon as possible. They could not hold the country, but they do not need to. They could take the country with the help of the Syrian Army and end the effectiveness of ISIS and Al Qaeda as opposition forces. If the Russians then leave, there is no enemy to strike, just a stable government, which will be a relief to most Syrians even though Assad will still be in charge. I’m cheering for Putin, both because he’s chosen the right side and because he’s opposing Obama - who always chooses the wrong side.
One could assume that Putin might want to do the same job in the US and western Europe.
