Yeah thats why hes not doing well. /s
I cannot help conclude that Walker has been reduced to an Iowa candidate at this point. If he finishes in the top 3 there, perhaps he can re-emerge as a national candidate.
Cruz vs. Carson is the supposed runoff to come up with a national candidate for the True Conservatives & Social conservatives. Cruz not doing well with that but he has a base in all 3 states: IA NH SC.
Kasich vs. Rubio will be the battle for the support of the GOP insiders with Bush faded away. But I have a hard time picturing those old fuddy-duddy-waspie-types supporting Rubio.
Don’t expect an early consensus on the nominee. They will fight this out thru the last primary.
THREAD WINNER!!
I agree with you. Walker wasn’t ready to run nationally this election cycle. He’s only 48 I believe so he has time left in his public career. I suggest that the governor go to the private sector and run a business or work as an executive. He doesn’t need more time as an elected official after he leaves the Wisconsin governorship.
Thanks aftr.
I am blessed with (or burdened) with a long memory. Now that I am older than dirt, I have a lot of trivia to recall. LOL.
Check this story out on Hot Air and note the para about who his major backer is looking to next:
Stanley S. Hubbard, a Minnesota media mogul and top Walker donor, said that while he is sticking with Walker for now, he is considering also giving money to Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), former Hewlett-Packard chief executive Carly Fiorina and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, all of whom performed well at Wednesdays debate, he said
This donor doesn't sound like he's interested in backing any conservatives and his first RINO pick was Walker.
Shoot me, but I’d be just fine with Rubs, not that he’s my first choice.
Kasich OTOH is a zit that need’s to be popped.
Jeb needs to lay down a for a nap, and not wake up for 40 years.
I missed the driftwood debate (the early one), did you see it?
yes. I saw early and late .... all 5 hours. Most of it.
good debate early ... but meaningless. Santorum did look intelligent and on top of things.
That is good analysis.
And yes, mistakenly. Who wants to hire losers? If you look at the article, his donors are the ones who were also getting together and suggesting firing this guy.
>>. Hes toast. I look for him to be around 1%-2% in polling next week.
Turns out you overestimated. He is in the aughts.
He faded to black faster than I expected. :-)
