I agree with Coulter on this. I support Israel as an ally, but I get sick of hearing politicians pander to Israel to such an extreme extent. It's no different than hearing Jeb pander to Mexico.

Israel, our ally in the Middle East, which is surrounded by enemies hell-bent on its destruction, could use some assurance by those seeking the presidency of the United States. Especially after the way they've been treated by the current Regime.

Exactly so, and well said.

Coulter should be taken out behind the barn
and force fed a cheeseburger.

Agreed. Whenever foreign policy comes up, the candidates should unequivocally state they support Isreal's right to exist, and denounce extreme terrorist groups that want to wipe Israel off the map. I'm also against dictating to Israel where they are allowed to build "settlements" and telling them what they can do with their borders. We have zero right to interfere with another country's sovereignty, and they sure as hell wouldn't like it if Isreali government told us that we should give Texas back to Mexico in the name of "peace". I'm equally appalled that supposedly "pro-Israel" politicians like George W. Bush and Condi Rice -- supported the insane idea of giving the Palestinians "statehood" when their government was run by Hamas. I'd hope our current crop of candidates is smarter than that.

That being said, the candidates were asked about what they would do for AMERICANS, and they went off topic to THAT question and talked about what they'd do for Israeli instead. They were clearly pandering to Jewish American voters, most of whom don't give a hoot about Israel no matter how much we kiss their butts. THAT is what Ann Coulter was objecting to. (can't believe I'm defending loudmouth idiot Ann and her potty mouth, but I understand what she was trying to convey). Talking about Israel in response to US domestic policy is an inappropriate as talking about the need to reduce abortion is you're asked about your education policy.

Finally, while we're on the topic of Israel's internal security and mixing domestic issues with foreign policy, I'd argue that many of Israel's OWN government officials seem "hell-bent on its destruction" with their left-wing, extremely socially liberal policy. Israel's rampant support of gay rights and taxpayer abortion-on-demand is NOT something we should blindly ignore in order to make them feel good about themselves. Israel is killing more Jewish babies than the Palestinians could ever dream of. If they continue down the path they're going, Israel will be a majority Arab nation in a few decades. If I was President and truly cared about saving "Israel", I'd give Netanyahu an earful about that instead of blindly "standing by" everything Israel says and does. It's appalling that these policies are occurring under his "conservative" government and he doesn't oppose it. Fiscal conservatism and social liberalism doesn't work.
