So you have to lie about the only solid Constitutional conservative in the race in order to prop up your celebrity.

You're repeating yourself. Cruz opposes amnesty which he defines as a pathway to citizenship. He doesn't oppose granting legal status, which, by the way, guarantees they will become citizens at some point regardless of what anybody says:
