Trump is a media phenomenon, and that’s actually what his background is: “reality TV” and sleazy personal affairs and dubious real estate dealings. The problem is that we are in the Age of the Celebrity, and if you get reported often enough, even if it’s not good, that makes you a sainted celebrity. And then people love you and don’t care what you think, because merely touching the hem of your garment is enough for them.

He took positions and said things that the guys you rather have were too busy goofing around to bother with. He fights back and does not apologize for himself.

We don’t owe anyone support just because. Get to the positions that matter to us first and dont back down, and they could have been in the Trump seat.

No one is supporting this guy just because of a TV show. As long as his opposition keeps repeating that, then the further they will sink. Just as well because that level of stupidity would have never beat the Democrats anyway.

Well I think that a truly “Honest Politician” like “Mr. Smith in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” could never get the GOP nomination due to the GOPe being so G-Damned corrupt.

Trump MIGHT be the Bulldozer that either give a much needed Enema to the GOPe and can clear the way for someone like Cruz after he self destructs, or he will be the destruction off the entire Republican party.

Either way, I am perfectly fine with this outcome.

Have you actually watched Trump's show? It is not at all sleazy; in fact it is quite informative and even inspirational. It teaches the kind of values we want our young people to learn; that creativity, initiative, a willingness to take intelligent risks, to think independently and strategically, as well as to get along and work with others, that self discipline, self respect, good sportsmanship and honesty are all important. It emphasizes the importance of setting goals that are both realistic and far-reaching, and if you are willing to hard to achieve those goals, give it everything you have and try to be the best you are very likely to have a lot of success.

I am so sick of hearing that Trump is a “reality show clown.” Trump's show is quite remarkable, it showcases what is best about the American business world. It showcases, in a very entertaining way, the values and work ethic that helped make America the richest, most powerful, and freest country in the world, which we are now in so much danger of losing. The values espoused in Donald Trumps TV show, are exactly the same values that can save this country.
