Why do Swedes have a guilt complex to commit national suicide. Their only colony was Delaware. They did supply iron ore to the Nazis in WW II. Do they feel guilty for having a prosperous and functioning society?

Now that I think about it, I have heard for years that Sweden has a very high rate of suicide. Now they have doctors allowed to offer assistance. So maybe there is something to the notion that the overall zeitgeist is one of
fatalism and the darkest of depression.
