“What he has today was entirely of his own doing.”
Nonsense, he did it through who he and his family knew. Without his name it would not have been possible. He got that from his family.
Sure he’s a fantastic marketer, but he’s also led several businesses into bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy is part of being an entrepreneur. It is a tool and shouldn’t be considered a pejorative. Obama’s net worth is over $10 billion. That is the measure of his success not some isolated business failures.

Those who knew Trump best, knew his financial situaton the best also. His dad was 85 years old when Trump was at his lowest point. Donald was on his own.
As for him only growing based on his family name, if that's true he should never have fallen on hard times. You can't have it both ways.
The fact is, he was able to turn an upside down $150 million dollars into billions.
He got that from his family.
Let me guess, White privilege, right?
Sure hes a fantastic marketer, but hes also led several businesses into bankruptcy.
And he led them out also. They remained a tax base for the city, county, state, and federal government. Many people were able to keep their jobs and support their families. Oh the humanities...
This is a legal process.
