Maybe now, but he got here pretty much on his own. He doesn't have Bush bucks, Trump celebrity, or anything resembling a government record.

He was all but ignored in the last candidates' forum. He's got some real campaiogn organization, as his people were visible and professional at the GA State GOP convention.

Frankly, I don't know why he has caught on more than Cruz, Walker or Rubio. If he wins Iowa big, and Trump wins NH big, he may well wind up being anointed anti-Trump. I am doubtful that he is anything near the GOPe's top choice.

Ben Carson has come out as 100% pro-life, which may have a lot of pro-life people voting for him.
