Totally agree. plus they are cost effective. Missiles are a million bucks apiece minimum. With a battleship and big cannon can lob huge shells 30-40 miles sitting offshore of some third world hell hole at much lower cost.
Tickets for Veterans are free!
Is anybody going?
I think Reagan was the last veteran president worth a darn and he made intelligence films for bombing run briefings. Rather than serving I would suggest looking at a person's view of of military, do they love and respect it or view as playground for social experimentation.
If Donald Trump loves America half as much as he loves Donald Trump, we are golden. I've been consuming all of the campaign I can find, and in my opinion he does seem to have genuine love for the USA as it is, as it was, he loves it on its bad days as well as its good but he wants to - Make America Great Again. He has me thinking we can. More kool-aid please, yes grape is my favorite :)
And on a side note, the A-10 Warthog should be in production still. That is why people have lost trust in their govt. Billions for a new fighter that has not been tested versus a down and dirty cheap war machine built around a gatling gun? Come on........
Donald Trump motivated me in the same way. You are not alone.
“If Donald Trump loves America half as much as he loves Donald Trump, we are golden.”
I Love It!
Got my tix. Bringing my 3-year-old. We’ll see how that goes . . .
600 ship Navy!
Only by the uneducated or uniformed. Please supply documentation of your assertion (repeated so many times some accept it as fact) prior to WWII.
People that use inappropriate or made-up cartridge designations fall into the same category at folks that don't know the difference between the letter "O" and the number "Zero".
You don't need to publish the excuses. "But they look the same!" "Everyone knows what I mean!" Ad nauseam.
Should the .454 Casull be renamed (by laymen) the .45 Extra Long Colt? Do you have a candidate for the .45 Extremely Long Colt?
This is just too much fun! Should laymen rename the .45 GAP as the .45 Short ACP or .45 Short Auto?
Do you have a clue as to why proper cartridge names are important?
Again, paraphrasing James Carville, "It's the headstamp Stupid!"
6th was the Illinois. The Montana was a new class that never made it off the drawing board.
A bit anal are we? Sometime being too literal is not an asset. If I thought for one second I needed to be precise because someone was going to take my idle banter as gospel and run out and try to load any weapon without doing their own damn homework then I guess I need to contact my attorney and get a disclaimer drawn up.
Since I own 2 of them I guess I will call them whatever the hell I want. And when I go to my gun shop I have been going to since 1975 and talk with the guy about .45 long colt supplies he understand me as well. And seeing as I own and shoot probably more firearms than 90% of the people on this forum I will humbly deem myself enough expert to know what I am talking about.
Now that I have vented it is off to open one of my safes and stroke something in the .30 caliber range. I just hope I don’t try an stick a .357 Sig into one of my .357 magnums...
I know and work with a number of experts. You are not an expert. Not even close. I particularly enjoy getting folks like you on the witness stand and watch the other side's case self destruct.
You defiantly spew misinformation on this forum that might be accepted as fact by those even less informed about the subject than yourself. That is exceptionally immature and irresponsible about matters concerning safety.
Please do others a favor and only post about subjects that you have mastered.
Witness my middle finger. I doubt you even work, much less with experts. Your experts... Maybe we can meet in the head and see who has a bigger one, please dude grow up.
I avoid smug people like yourself who feel the need to correct every little thing they see, important or not. That is called insecurity or attention seeking, you pick. You probably are also part of the grammar and spelling police on here.
Consider us no longer conversing.
BTW, I will post what I want and challenge you to stop me. Live well clothed in your anonymity.
