The Taoiseach Enda Kenny says refugees must be allowed to seek asylum in Ireland to escape ISIS, who he says want to blow up Newgrange.
Mr. Kenny says the County Meath monument, and the Rock of Cashel, would be offensive to Islamic State jihadists.
He has also tried to play down reports of a Coalition rift about the number of refugees Ireland can acceptwith a special Cabinet meeting penciled in for Thursday to discuss the issue.

BTW, Newgrange is famous for its five-millennia-old megalithic passage tomb.
I guess the money he receives from his sponsors is more valuable than his heritage.
Well, after he presented Ireland’s budget to the Bundestag of all legislative bodies, there was a smattering of outrage and then the “Yes to Love” crowd lulled the Irish back to sleep just in time for the Jihadi influx. (Nothing here in chronological order of course.)
We wonder if the Taoiseach Enda Kenny knows the difference between refugees and invaders?
If 80% of the so-called "refugees" are men of military age, then are they really refugees?
Maybe Kenny needs to try to connect the dots. Maybe Kenny should be looking at other options, like clearing and securing an area in Syria or Iraq where the "refugees" can stay in their own country until the civil wars are ended.
Or does he not care for his Christian heritage? Or does Kenny think that throwing other peoples money at the problem is easier?
I’ve been to Newgrange. Amazing place, older than the pyramids, they say. You can feel the weight of years on your shoulders as you walk inside. They should place an armed guard there if they have to.
Maybe Kenny likes the Muslims because they, too, dislike Christians. Leftists do not like Christians because they disapprove of same sex marriage.
The USA has given refuge to nearly zero persecuted Christian refugees compared to millions of Muslims laced with terrorists-in-waiting.
I guess it’s a good thing I’ve already been to Newgrange and the Rock of Cashel. Next trip we’ll stay on the west side. Maybe it’ll take them longer to “migrate” to Galway.
Ireland is no longer the gentle rolling idyllic land of my mother. I am afraid it has turned into a conniving, left leaning prototype of Marx and Engels. It has shrugged off Catholicism like a bad rug and now they are totally freelancing. I cannot see this end well for them.
OHH can we put Irish soccer hooligans against ISIS folks that be great pay fight ever
I take my irish ancentors over ISIS anyday especially if they were drinking also shooting off guns
