Tricycle injuries send thousands of kids to ER each year

I call her Dora. She doesn’t ride a trike anymore, she is in a kart now. I have it tuned way down, but she still tries to slide it around the track when it’s wet. A little more power and she’ll have it.

Thr trike I had 56 years back had a step between the rear wheels. You held the handlebars, put one foot on the shelf, and used your free leg to propel yourself down the sidewalk just as fast as you could. And, nobody cared.

All the things we did, got away with, and loved would give the weak-tit parents/teachers/dictators-in-charge apoplectic shartfits! And, I might add, rightfully so. Were the kids of today to discover they could do such things if they had the chance, it might lead them to reject the control freaks attempting to manage every aspect of their young lives.

Another story to stir up the hysterical mother demographic. Since they took over the country's policy (and they did, hence the nanny state) we've been losing freedoms left and right because, gosh darn it, somebody ought to do something about this [insert fake crisis here]
