As a conservative I have long since resigned myself to having no political party that I could happily support. The Libs just voted themselves a world of trouble.

In a way I think it is healthy for democracy that MPs can so easily change their leader. Here in Canada that is unthinkable as the PM role has basically become a bully pulpit. It is the PM who rules the roost and promptly punishes any MP that gets out of line. I really liked Abott, and it is unfortunate.
