I’d never heard the term until I moved to NE Florida from Colorado. Seems everyone has a corn hole board down here. It’s not a BBQ or outdoor party without one.

It always makes me smirk. What is interesting is all the similar variants of the game, like "Washers" or what is REALLY popular in the Slate Belt of PA, Quoits. I have heard neighbors of a friend in the Lehigh Valley really whooping it up over a hardcore game of quoits... a LOT of beer was involved, of course.
