No snark from Fallon, and I realize that Trump really has the ability to connect with people. One gets the impression that he genuinely likes people, and loves our country.

He was serious about today’s anniversary, fierce about our Veterans getting the care they need, and also capable of poking fun at himself.

He comes across as a shrewd, competent CEO and I think that's precisely what our Republic needs. And to think just a month or so ago, I was dismissing him as nothing more than a sideshow distraction. He's sold me...and I think millions of others.

Colbert thinks he is smart...he is not!!! He was supposed to be the coming of the Messiah and break all viewer ratings for a late night show”. After four days on CBS TV he can only “match” Jimmy Fallon in viewership. He is going nowhere!! He will underestimate Donald Trump. Trump is at least two things, a great TV persona & and a great, effective “killer” negoatiator!!! Trump will eat this guy Clobert alive!!! Colbert never negotiated a thing in his entir life. Just like David Letterman had overstayed his welcom and close out his career with terribl rating (Leno & Fallan wiped him out, ratings wise). The same fate awaits this Obamabot fool!!!

Clovert and Failon really suck compared to Carson and Letterman in their heydays.

Let’s hope he keeps it up and doesn’t self destruct. One thing that worries me about him is he seems to be a loose cannon when it comes to his mouth

My concern as well. He's where he's at right now by being brash and not P.C. but he needs to learn when to take the high road, particularly against other GOP candidates who are not the enemy. His recent comments on Carson and Fiorina were juvenile and uncalled for.

It's time for Trump to take the fight to Hillary and Obama. He needs to remember why he's leading the pack and stick to that.

I disagree. First he must take out the enemy that is the closest and those are the back stabbing rinos of our half of the uniparty. There is plenty of time to go after the rats and with the beast crashing in the polls due to her own hand why would Trump want to get in the way of that train wreck?

I think The Donald is working on his Alinsky Method to fire bomb his opponents. The more practice, the more potent it will get. This is turning the tables on the DemonRATs who have used Alinsky to turn Republicans into spineless jelly fish.

I was thinking the same.

I absolutely agree! His first hurdle is getting the RINO/GOPe “contingent” on the trailer. There is little reason to spend any real serious time on Hitlary, because she’s doing a masterful job of digging her own hole by herself. Furthermore, if she does implode (get indicted) Trump will have squandered time and ammunition. Right now he has to “shape” his own battlefield. It’s going to be interesting as the GOPe turds start dropping out (a la Perry). I’m just waiting to see how the percentages move as each one exits.

There’s a story repeated several places that when Trump moved to Florida the local golf club would not let him in. The truth is Trump wouldn’t join because it wouldn’t allow Jews or people of color. Once he was settled he bought the club and opened it to all.

The man has been in the public eye for a century, I think if he had this inkling to use the N word, we’d have heard it by now. In fact, black people love the man.

Yes this is a battle among Republicans for the nomination. His current opponents are others in his party. He isn’t running against Dimwits yet. He will use the same and more practiced tactics on Hillary or the Dummy running in the general election.

I can assure you the needle isn’t going to move even one silly centimeter from Perry having left the race, lol.

Thank God he doesn’t drink because if he already gets into this much trouble on Twitter, drunk tweets would be apocalyptic.

No kidding.

I agree. If his mouth causes his downfall, it won’t be from using a word like that.
