Yesterday the White House announced the United States will take in at least 10,000 Syrian refugees under instruction from President Obama.
"The United States, at the direction of the United States, has played a leading role in addressing the dire humanitarian crisis in the Middle East and North Africa," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Thursday during the daily briefing. "One thing that the United States can do is to begin to let more Syrian refugees into the United States. This year, this fiscal year that will end this month, the United States is on track to take in about 1500 Syrian refugees. The president has directed his team to scale up that number next year and he's informed his team he would like them to accept, at least make preparations, for 10,000 refugees."
Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee Michael McCaul is expressing grave concerns about the move and is warning that the U.S. doesn't have the systems in place through Homeland Security or the FBI to properly vet refugees coming from the terrorism hotspots of Syria and Iraq.
“The President wants to surge thousands of Syrian refugees into the United States, in spite of consistent intelligence community and federal law enforcement warnings that we do not have the intelligence needed to vet individuals from the conflict zone. We also know that ISIS wants to use refugee routes as cover to sneak operatives into the West. I implore the President to consult with Congress before taking any drastic action and to level with the American people about the very real security challenges we face," McCaul released in a statement. "It is heart-wrenching to watch innocent Syrians fleeing the violence in their country, and we can do more to help. But the best way to solve this crisis is at the source. The President needs to develop a real strategy for victory to defeat ISIS and remove Assad from power, which is the root cause of the problem. This is the culmination of a failed foreign policy to deal with the threats and now we have a humanitarian crisis on our hands.”
As McCaul mentioned, ISIS has vowed to use the refugee crisis to infiltrate western Europe and eventually, the United States.

That's the $64 question. I wish I had an answer. There is no question tremendous damage can be done between now and then. Will it be fatal and irreversible? Only God knows...
Look. We have every intelligence agency saying the same thing. We have Americans saying the same thing, and most of our politicians. Drag them out on their sorry asses charge them, find them guilty, and jail them forever. What’s the problem? CIA / FBI / NSA can’t bring this down, should be painfully obvious to them with zero cooking intelligence briefings.
At minimum, they would have their biometrics run through the USVISIT program. This would identify known and suspected insurgents from the Afgan & Iraqi theaters and certain other places.
I cannot say for certain if that is being done, but it was SOP in the past.

Put them up there, with survival manuals, and the tools to build a home, but no weapons, one month of MREs only, and place them there in late September, as a start. come back in spring, to see who is still there, ala Donner.

Spread out low rise building in DC elite neighborhoods so as many elites as possible can have THEIR OPPORTUNITY to be ‘compassionate’ toward these Syrian men - men in their early 20's... Men without wives... Liberal elites can show the rest of us the depth of their compassion... even greater than their compassion for Biden’s loss...
They can wallow in the glory of their own compassion once again...
Let DC elites’ wives, children, and grandchildren help with the process of assimilating these single Syrian men. They’ll be heroes... We'll all look up to them...
America’s elites will finally be able to step up to the plate and put their own ‘quality of life’ on the line... rather than ours. They’ll love it.
And yeah, it’ll cost more - but I can assure elites - it’ll be the happiest tax money ‘the people’ have spent in decades...
The above solution is the best way to stop the anti-immigrant mentality that Obama’s so worried about... PUT THEM IN OBAMA’S BACK YARD. Let the effing elites socialize them... and show us - the great unwashed - THE WAY... If democrats are right - and it works perfectly - having these men HOUSED WITH THE ELITES then we'll apologize... with passion. The DC type 'apology' with 'full responsibility'...
