The world just changed forever, but you'd hardly know it from the media
The American Thinker ^ | 11 Sep 2015 | Carol Brown

It is now official. On Thursday the Senate let the Iran deal go through – a deal that will forever change the landscape of the world in terrifying and unthinkable ways. I need not enumerate how this collaboration with Iran (and it is a collaboration) will affect Israel, the Middle East, the United States, and indeed the entire world.

Readers know all too well.

And yet, you’d hardly know how our fate was sealed on Thursday. America’s alignment with the Nazis of the 21st century hardly made a dent in media coverage. Headlines appeared as they do on any other day.

Demi Moore, 52, looks positively ageless….

Bill Cosby accuser recalls alleged ordeal…

This guy spent an entire year hilariously texting a girl…

Ben Carson attacks Donald Trump’s faith…

Skydiver solves Rubik’s cube…

Stars dance at U.S. open…

And on and on it went.

So on Thursday, after Republican leaders spent months colluding with the Democrats, the Washington cartel ensured that our children and grandchildren will live in a world with a nuclear Iran.

I'm hoping this is all just a chess game to set them up for random "accidents" at their facilities.

It only takes one mole at each place to make it go BOOM

Someone remind me how Republicans capturing the Senate in 2012 was essential to thwart Obama.

That’s the thing that gets me, the damn republicans working with the democrats on that deal.

It’s freaking mind blowing how any of them could support that deal. Are they so short sighted that they have no care for the future? What did they get out of the deal that would be worth a a possible nuclear holocaust?

If Israel or the USA is ever attacked because of this deal, obama, Kerry, and the senators that supported this deal should be brought to justice wherever they’re living at the time. They’re no better than the nazis.

Isn’t it amazing that the rats call for gun control every time a crazy commits a shooting, yet they give the world’s biggest crazy a nuclear weapon?

The utter stupidity and dishonesty of the Republicans has basically guaranteed that there will be a nuclear war within 10-15 years, possibly a lot sooner. Iran is going to get nukes, lots of them, plus ballistic missile capacity to the Western Hemisphere. Who here thinks that the Saudis and Egyptians are going to sit still and watch Iran dominate the entire Mideast? Not me...they will quickly start their own programs. Israel will possibly strike Iran before it obtains significant capability, and will definitely arm itself even more heavily. With Russians and Iranians in Syria (now - who knows where else they’ll be in a few years), ISIS still running around, Hezbollah with 100,000 rockets (and the Iranians have promised them guidance packages that will make them accurate), etc., etc. - you are looking at many wars in that area, most of which will involve nuclear powers. Not a recipe for everyone over there sitting around a campfire singing “Kumbaya.” Oh, and just a reminder, much of the world’s oil reserves are concentrated around the Persian Gulf, the availability of which the literal survival of billions of people depends.

All because the Republicans enabled Obama via Corker, and are afraid to confront Obama - and most specifically because RIGHT NOW Mitch McConnell refuses to take yesterday’s House resolution and run with it - to state in unequivocal terms that “this is a treaty” and to schedule a vote in the full Senate. Do you think that Harry Reid would hesitate for a second to do that if the shoe was on the other foot?

This whole tragic set of events shows, more than any other single thing could, why Donald Trump is likely to be the next POTUS - because the Republicans don’t have the integrity or the guts to do what they promised.

Phuck them, phuck ALL of them - they will ALL have blood on their hands, and I hope that if that comes about that they all meet Justice (and that doesn’t mean the DOJ).

Great line! Next time I have a gun debate with some liberal loser (sorry, I know that's redundant), I will ask if they backed this deal with Iran. If the answer is "yes," then I will tell them to STFU, they are too stupid and too hypocritical to bother speaking with.

Perhaps this could be the covert symbol for us true patriots willing to mobilize, now that the rule of law has been clearly dispensed with.

the part of the USA in the affair is somewhat over stated. it is the europeans that want and got the deal. there would be a similar reality even if the congress successfully chucks the deal.

Iran is a very good customer of German industry and they ridded the stumbling blocks preventing iranian trade

What kind of economic patriot is this guy? Boeing needs new markets. The Club for Growth is all for the Iran deal - and all good Republicans should be, too. /s

You can bet your ass that the Israeli Air Force is already entering the LAT/LONG for each nuclear site into the FMS on the strike fighters. Bibi will not be intimidated by a putz like obama...We are about to witness an adult response to the Iranian threat...

Some of the liberal losers I deal with don't even know there was a deal with Iran.

How true. Reminds me of this biblical passage from the gospel of Matthew ...

For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man. ... Matthew 24: 37-39

Now is the time for Israel to strike, before the Iranuses get their hands on the money and the military goods from Russia and China.
