These politicians would have been content to let Obama’s Iran deal pass if Trump had not shined the media light on it now as he did on immigration. Pure BS. This was a consideration and a vocal complaint from the day the "deal" (treaty) was submitted.

Yeah sure . The timing is just coincidence that after Trump starts talking about it nationally then they now try it 2 days after Trump’s Iran rally.
