EXCELLENT IDEA:

we need to say we are currently taking in so many “refugees” from south of the border that we can’t take anymore.

This should be used as our excuse not to take anymore.

For all we know monkeys could fly out of my butt. Do Christians act the way we see these refugees behaving?

Trump fanbois won’t care. Most would converted to Islam if Trump did.

They defend any and all he says and does.

I once asked Trump supporters if Anthony Weiner were to run and was saying the things Trump is saying, would they support him? I got a yes answer. Amazing.

Germany has been very generous so far, which is very surprising to me, to be honest with you.

him him him him By his surprise about Germany's posture, Trump once again betrays his ignorance of the world and the players in the world. Given Germany's current culture the reaction is perfectly understandable and certainly not surprising.

The only help the United States should be offering in this refugee crisis in Europe are patrol boats in the Mediterranean to interdict refugees attempting the crossing and to return them to the African shores.

That Donald Trump would even consider accepting these refugees into the United States shows the lack of fixed political philosophy in the man and demonstrates how if he is entrusted to govern he will do so on an utterly ad hoc basis.

Conservatives who believe as I do that stopping immigration is everything ought to consider that the wish is not necessarily the father of the fact and they ought to consider that Trump's policy paper on immigration does not always match up to his rhetoric and in any event his whole approach is chaotic. He will deport everyone and then re-admit "fantastic" people! Only someone desperate in their desire to stop immigration can read that as a coherent policy. How many? He's going to let in a few from the euro crisis and he is going to re-admit "fantastic" ones already illegally here, what's next?

What is the next random thought to cross Donald Trump's mind?

Krugman says he’s right on economy.

So what does Krugman say that is right?

Krugman may get it 'right' like a broken clock.

We need to kill the lunatics driving them out. They have a country. They need help with the savages that are driving them out.

He’s a candidate for the Repub nomination.

He lacks full info on the crisis in Europe, that’s why the ‘maybe’

It’s the same ‘maybe’ my Mom used to bleat to me whenever I’d ask “Can I get a motorcycle?”

I never got the cycle, thank God Almighty!

And likewise a president Trump would not let refugees swarm our bankrupt nation.

The Trump hatred is strong here in this thread... if not for Trump, Jeb! the magnificent, would be the front-runner.

Because they still feel guilt about Hitler, that they've gone to the other extreme.

You are so full of sh** with your lies. Trump isn’t a life long Democrat. He was registered as one for only a period of 8 years - the rest of his voting life - which amounts to 51 years - he has been a Republican and and Independent. At one time he was a member of the Reform Party - which is the part of Ross Perot. Stop your lies and exaggerations!

You do know Cruz ain’t going to win either

With "conservatives" supporting liberal Donald Trump he just might not.

What U.S. policies? Getting rid of Saddam? At least Saddam kept the region somewhat stabilized.

Yep.

Remember how absolutely giddy Hillary was when Qaddafi was tortured to Death? Between that and arming the Syrian ISIS Rebels, Obama and Hillary caused this crisis.

And the 0 and Hitlery henchpersons (and others) danced all night long!

Yes, these are the U.S leaders who have helped facilitate the Syrian mess AND what is coming over the whole earth.

Trump is more and more looking like most other politicians. He is trying to be on both sides of every issue.

The thing is, regardless of what Trump said, he is no better nor worse than any of the other candidates on this. They all are going to say the same thing, mince their words so they don’t appear to be a “hater.”

We see in the end Trump's ultimate answer is no.

Well that's a bit of a reach. But I do agree that many here have jumped to a conclusion that is not warranted. Really what could Trump say that would please the anti-Trumpers? I guess they want to hear "Let them all die of starvation and exposure, then God can sort them out".
