I’m betting that the EPA hired 100 new enviro whackos to solve all the mine problems....creating a new division in their little money maker.

"An EPA crew accidently released 3 million gallons of orange waste water into the Animas River on Aug. 5 from a mine near Silverton Colorado. "

And exactly what proof of that statement is there? There have been suggestions that it was deliberate.

I believe our Native American friends voted overwhelmingly for the Obama ticket. Them’s your boys, friends.

Thank you, Nothing new. We have relatives in Grand Junction, but my husband is a geochemist, Caltech-trained, and does a lot of work on mining clean-up. NOT working for the EPA but trying to stay clear of their idiocy.

I also read that geologist’s column in the Durango (was it?) newspaper, which made a lot of sense to me.

Take care. Fight on!

That would be The Durango Herald, and, yes,I will continue to fight on.

Thanks for the reply.

"The EPA knew of the potential for this to occur. They had been told in official reports. Why? More budget to clean it up. Maybe force people to move out of the region after their water supply was ruined."

Needs repeating-BUMP

Yes. The EPA is in alignment with people who want to depopulate the West and non-urban areas. The way to destroy the water supply the same way they have gradually done so in California, it’s fairly obvious by their history. This isn’t even their most recent river destroyed, these was a similar incident only weeks ago.

EPA supervisor Hays Griswold, who was at the scene of the blowout Aug. 5, told The Denver Post in an interview this month the plan in place “couldn’t have worked.” He said conditions in the mine were worse than anticipated. “Nobody expected (the acid water backed up in the mine) to be that high,” he said.

Gee, perhaps someone should have checked before they went mucking around up there... Reality as a way of biting you in the arse if you don't take it seriously.

But I am told by by the media that any criticism of Obama is racist. Therefore, I must conclude that the Navajo nation is racist.

Which makes them a hate group and ineligible for government "aid".......oh....wait.

There have been suggestions that it was deliberate.

Not suggestions...accusations.

Accusations that have gone deafeningly unanswered, insofar as I've seen/heard.

Several gov’t employees need to be in prison at least.

Yes, perhaps. But they are the pawns.

We need a leader to change the bureaucratic leadership which is complicit with those currently in charge, directing the EPA.

By effect, the Puppet should be in jail, along with senior advisors.
