Ted Cruz “Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. . . . I stand with Kim Davis. Unequivocally.”

Mike Huckabee "Kim Davis in federal custody removes all doubts about the criminalization of Christianity in this country. We must defend Religious Liberty!"

Rand Paul "I think it’s absurd to put someone in jail for exercising their religious liberties. This is really the problem when from on high we decide to get involved on a federal level with something that has always been a local issue"

Bobby Jindal "We are seeing government today discriminate against whether it's clerks, florists, musicians or others. I think that's wrong. I think you should be able to keep your job and follow your conscience. I absolutely do believe people have a First Amendment right, a constitutional right. I don't think the court can take that away."

Rich Santorum "The Supreme Court acted unconstitutionally .... Kim Davis was heroic and she has suffered the consequences. Putting her in jail is ridiculous."

Donald Trump "The Supreme Court has ruled. It is the law of the land.”

Weak Trump very very weak.

Please tell me what legislation Cruz, Paul, or Santorum have initiated to define marriage in a way the court can’t wiggle out of.

That actually is something that can be done.

Waiting...

[[Rich Santorum “The Supreme Court acted unconstitutionally .... Kim Davis was heroic and she has suffered the consequences. Putting her in jail is ridiculous.” ]]

No Rick- putting her in jail isn’t ‘ridiculous’, it’s ILLEGAL- The judge ILLEGALLY ordered her to violate her religious belief, and when she refused, He put her in jail.

Our constitution PROTECTS our right to religious beleifs- it doesn’t JAIL us for them!
