Oh crap...not a good start talking about deflated footballs.
Freepers are pointing out why jailing Davis is so treacherous. While the USSC has ruled that same sex marriage is Constitutional, Kentucky does not have a law permitting same sex marriage. Neither the USSC nor the judge in the case has the authority to order the clerk to issue a marriage license. The clerk broke no law, and cannot be charged with any crime, so the judge put her in jail because she wouldn’t follow his order.
If Trump needs to know a particular punk ass leader is, he can order his State Department to find out. Like Obama does.
Suleimani was recently in the news for taking a trip to Russia to collaborate with Putin in violation of a UN directive.
ditto that
Century wrong on purpose...
Greetings Biggirl I didn’t get ping is everything ok?
Sorry, her is the LATE Rush Limbaugh Show Thread PING List.
Just got the PING List up.
Doing fine, glad that you ask, otherwise I would have forgotten to get the PING list up.
I just got here, and missed the first part of Rush’s show, but I was busy composing an e-mail to my congressman, Doug Lamborn (R-CO). Here’s the text:
“Dear Congressman Lamborn,
Do you understand why so many Republicans are supporting Donald Trump? In case you’re not, I’ll tell you: we’re sick to death of electing Republicans who fail even to slow, much less stop, still less reverse, the growth and power of government.
We vote for you, we wait for results, and all we get is excuses. “Oh, we need majorities in BOTH houses.” “Oh, we need the White House AS WELL as both houses.” And when we give you everything you say you need, you still accomplish nothing except to nibble around the edges of the monstrous government that has developed through decades of Republican failure to act, and which continues to grow every day. You don’t reduce spending, you don’t lower taxes, you don’t close the borders, you don’t cut any government agencies, you don’t reign in the IRS, you don’t repeal Obamacare, you don’t end free schooling and medical care for illegals, and you don’t even defund, much less end, the horror that is Planned Parenthood. And when a wealthy, powerful crook like Hillary Clinton is caught blatantly endangering national security by using an unsecured, uncontrolled server in her home while serving as Secretary of State, you don’t stand up and demand her indictment. I held a TS/SI/TK clearance for more than 30 years, and if I had done a tiny fraction of what she’s done, I’d be in jail for life and utterly ruined.
You enrich yourself during your “service” while our salaries and wages stagnate or decrease, and our savings are eaten by ever-increasing taxes. You allow millions of working-age Americans—not to mention the illegals—to live without working on the money I earned during 40 years of employment, and which I diligently scrimped and saved for my retirement. There are millions of Americans who would get right up off the couch and go to work if 1) they could find jobs and 2) their various government subsidies were terminated.
I’m unfair, you say? You’re trying, you say? You’re doing your best? Well, sir, your “best” is completely inadequate, and I’ve had enough. I’ll be voting for Ben Carson for president, because he is not a politician and has a record of FULFILLING HIS PROMISES. And if you don’t stand up and start demanding action on any of the many issues I’ve mentioned here, I’ll be voting for any Republican who opposes you in the next congressional election.
I’ve voted for you in every primary and election, but that’s about to end. I want to see some results. I would appreciate knowing exactly what actions you’re planning to take.”
Lamborn is actually quite conservative and votes correctly on most issues, but the underlying problem is still there: nothing gets done on the critical issues undermining our country. (And I just realized I forgot to address the deal with Iran—okay, it’ll be in the next e-mail.)
My main purpose was to warn him that nothing short of results will keep his job secure, and to make sure he understands why so many Republicans are enthused about the non-politicians running for president. I hope it has some effect.
Is this a seminar caller or Cincinnati’s Wife?
I think she’s just not to bright.
