Everyone, and I include myself, is disappointed, but not surprised that 4 liberal justices and one who has always been sympathetic to the ‘queer class’ decided that homosexuals are a minority and deserve the protection of law and equal rights. They have also ruled that the crucial parts of the ‘Defense of Marriage Act’ are unconstitutional. Deal with it like adults fellas. The lady in Kentucky has every right to ‘civil disobedience’, (and that’s what it is) to highlight the issue. Civil disobedience on a massive scale however would not reverse the legal process. The only way that marriage will ever be legally defined as ‘between a man and a woman’ in the country again would be through an amendment to the constitution, which is not going to happen when you consider the demographics, the support for and promotion of LGBT in the media and educational system, and the Federal bureaucracy. Or, perhaps, a few states could try seceding again. Donald is smart. He wants to get elected. We can’t be dumb enough to ask him to die for what is, unfortunately, a lost cause. The problem here is that absolute moral judgements, not backed by the authority of divinity are just strong opinions. And, in the court of public opinion and in the court of law the opinion that gays should be denied marriage benefits has lost; and we no longer have a majority of people in this country who are committed to the absolute authority of the God revealed in the Bible. If you want to turn this country around in a moral sense... get off of Trump and get on your knees.
