I agree with that. I have this theory about groups too, like al Qaeda, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood..., I think the feet on the ground folks switch teams all the time. We think in terms of loyalties, but it’s my take they think in terms of anti-US operations and don’t really care under what flag they fight.
I am starting to believe that many of the organizations have their names changed periodically to make Obama look good. Al Baghdad is ISIS now but he was AQ-Iraq for years. The DoS even tried floating something like “the Koroshan Group” name for ISIS last year. I suspect they may be the same guys doing the same things but since Obama said Al Qaeda is defeated, we have to call the same guys something else.
