They win politically but lose in damnation. To equate the work of man and woman to be parents of the world to this vulgarity is utter suicidal damnation. This judge is nuts and lost in legal mumbo jumbo.
Statue and precedent is precisely what got us where we are today; lawyers are a plague upon us all. The Constitution was written in plain language with clear meaning, with intent very clear from the Federalist Papers. If statue and precedent are so good, how do we get to precisely the OPPOSITE of what was intended on so many issues: General Welfare clause, Interstate Commerce clause, heck, the second amendment was interpreted as a collective right for four generations because of "precedent". I'll answer: Because lawyers are not seeking truth or consistency, they have a political agenda.
The First Amendment/Religious Liberty angle on the situation in KY with County Clerk Kim Davis is a bit of an out for Republican “conservative” politicians.
They’re almost all judicial supremacists, so they think the courts actually have the authority to dictate, even if those dictates violate the laws of nature and nature’s God, or the supreme law of out land, the Constitution. They have no problem with having a judicial oligarchy rule over us. They just want it to be a benign dictatorship, one that agrees with them, or at least is tolerant of them. So, instead of saying what they should, that Kim Davis is acting completely lawfully, according to her oath to support and defend the Constitutions and laws of her state and the nation, and that the federal judge is acting lawlessly, beyond his legitimate authority, they’re trying to force the courts into a corner, by making this all about one person’s religious beliefs, so that the all-powerful court will do what they want.
It is about her religious beliefs, certainly, but not primarily. Primarily, this is about the laws of nature and nature’s God, and the constitutionally-legitimate functions of the various parts of our government.
To have a system of checks and balances such as the founders intended when they wrote and ratified our Constitutions, there must come a time when lawless judges, who reject the only true basis for justice and the rule of law, are politely, but firmly, told NO. And that time, more than ever before, is NOW.
We ought to obey God rather than men - (Acts 5:29)
I was just sitting here sobbing and crying out to the LORD to please intervene, but I find so many passages of scripture that predict what we will go through before the end comes.
We are up against a “beast” that is set on devouring us.
This “beast” will keep us from being able to even maintain a business, or a job, unless we bow down to it.
Revelation 13 speaks of 2 beasts making war with the saints and overpowering them, and also not being able to buy and sell unless you have the beasts mark.
If they shut your business down and penalize you for not complying with their new laws that violate Gods law, then there is the “can’t sell”, and the same with holding a job too if you don’t go along with this “beasts law” you will not have a job, so you won’t be able “to buy” either because you won’t have any money to buy.
I’m not a Bible scholar, but what is happening looks just like what was prophesied in Mark 13, Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Revelation 13.
This is only going to get more extreme as time goes on, because our “leaders” have become the “unlawful ones”.
like to see this a-hole Judge David L. Bunning at the business end of one of Judge Parker’s gallows along with a whole passel of other judges.
Hear me John Roberts and the rest of you f-ing “supremes”?
You are absolutely right. I've brought up Natural Law to attorneys only to get quizzical looks back like "huh?".
The rot is deep.
Ah...the makings of a winning brief.
It’s my impression that a lawyer would argue that his client didn’t exist if he thought it would win the case.
I am not here to tell you what would be popular or effective in today’s courtroom. I am here to speak the truth.
Help me out here. There is actually a law that states if you refuse to marry a gay couple then you go to jail?
Hell, I would think a clerk could refuse to marry anyone.
I would say "Judge, I cannot call you "Your Honor" because you are not honorable. I will call you Judge Bunning or Mr. Bunning, but not "Your Honor." Honor is earned, not demanded, and you have not earned it this day."

If I was going to be snarky, I’d have asked if you were the flower girl.
Just being precise.
Okay. Since the U.S. Constitution [Article IV, Section 4] provides that The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government... and not a judicial dictatorship, then the Constitution has thereby been abrogated, and the entire contract is thereby moot, null and void. Including ALL of Article III.
Bailiff, take that man out behind the courthouse and execute him.
Except for when human law goes against natural law.
Mega Thanks for posting this.
Natural Law is the basis of all our man made laws.
Thanks for posting all the many quotes concerning Natural Law.
Those and Godebert’s post in # 33 are extremely valuable.
Against whose idea of natural law?
Yours and mine are probably very similar (if not identical), but that is not so for everyone.
And, if people turn away from the laws and courts which they themselves have established — then there is no mediator or mechanism for resolving conflicts between each individual’s concept of natural law.
Which isn’t to say that such conflict can not be resolved — it just can not be resolved without resort to the law of the jungle and force of arms.
Too many judges in America are true nihilists — that they are above all that has ever preceded them. That they are wiser, more intelligent and more moral than anyone or any institution that has existed since the beginning of time (sound familiar?)
God: "No you're not."
Yup. This is what has bothered me since this peculiar agenda cropped up. I first became aware of it mostly in the '70s. It has been exploding since then. I was innately conscious that what was happening around me "flew in the face of common sense, logic and convention".
