Nikki Haley got the Tea Party cred by having Erick Erickson and Palin campaign for her. Also Mark Sanford’s campaign team backed her as well. Haley does have a relationship with Romney going back in 2008, when she endorsed him. Should Romney decide to run again, I think Romney may pick Haley as his Veep.
Fortunately, Willard has as much chance of winning the nomination as Linda Graham or of Erick Erickson being Trump’s Press Secretary.
South Carolina definitely needs an enema when it comes to many of its elected officials. Badly.
