That is a stance you are all entitled to take, so far this is a free country although becoming less so by the hour.
They need to decide this on their own.
Invoking that sort of veiled threat is much more likely to have the opposite reaction, however they might actually understand what judicial tyranny feels like when exercised through law enforcement.
I’ll leave that up to you, but it seems to be the same tactic that you are trying to say is abusive and unconstitutional.
