France and Germany have called on the EU to force member countries to take obligatory quotas of refugees and asylum seekers.

The German chancellor, Angela Merkel, said the French-German position represented a “sharing of duty … the principle of solidarity” while on a visit to Switzerland on Thursday.

The countries of Eastern Europe are right to give Frau Merkel and Comrade Hollande the middle finger.

Consider tiny Estonia, population 1.3 million (907 thousand ethnic Estonians, 330 thousand ethnic Russians and a small number of everyone else)

It would take just a tiny portion of this wave of impossible-to-assimilate Arab Muslims to destroy Estonia as a nation. Just a few thousand would forever change the nature of its capital city Tallinn. Most of the "refugees" are young men. Imagine thousands of shiftless young Muslim criminal men hanging out on the streets of a once idyllic Medieval Old Town.

Of course you don't have to imagine it. You can just visit Paris.

Fortunately I think the Eastern Europe countries have the right idea. At least for now. Hope they hold out.

Has anyone seen any information of just who these refugees are? Are they Alawites and other supporters of Assad? I know some are probably Christian. But I’ve seen next to nothing about which ethnic groups are fleeing, and why this exit of people from Syria and nearby areas turned into a flood just recently.

These are all people directly or indirectly affected by Obama pulling all the troops out of Iraq so Isis and Iran could move in and genocide people’s butts.

All this death and genocides should be Obama’s official legacy as President.

I agree Obama is more responsible for all the death and displacement than anyone else. But it’s said that Assad’s government will probably fall soon, so I’m wondering which groups in Syria are fleeing and which are sticking around in anticipation of an ISIS/Al Qaeda, Sunni victory.

There are already enough of them in that place. ANY overflow will end up in Minnesota.
