The Iran deal must be stopped, and we can do it (DC rally organizer)

It seems the more we learn about the Obama-Iran nuclear deal, the clearer it becomes that it is a rotten deal for the United States and our allies. Americans by a 2-to-1 margin oppose the Iran deal and even high-profile Democrats in Congress are beginning to see President Obama’s folly in striking this deal with Iran.

The deal is a complete “win” for Iran, a country that sponsors terrorism. One of the biggest weaknesses of the deal is that Iran has the right to deny international inspectors access to nuclear sites. So much for international oversight. The deal will also almost guarantee that Iran will have a nuclear weapon within the next decade. Americans see through the White House’s talking points about “diplomacy” and “security.” This is a raw deal for America, and we know it.

This past week, thousands of Tea Party Patriots activists visited their local congressional offices to voice their opposition to the dangerous Iran nuclear deal. We were able to visit nearly 200 congressional offices through that effort. Studies repeatedly show that of all the ways constituents engage with their elected officials, the in-person meeting is still king. While social media, letters to the editor, and emails to members of Congress are all valuable forms of communication, the in-person meeting is paramount for helping to sway members of Congress on issues.

Building on the success of this past week, we are now shifting our focus to our national protest on Capitol Hill on September 9. Thousands of Americans are coming to Washington, D.C. that day to oppose the Iran deal. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Donald Trump are both confirmed and will speak at the rally, along with many other members of Congress and concerned citizens.

We have a very short window of time to stop Obama’s reckless nuclear deal. But we are confident that this major protest on Capitol Hill will be a tipping point. members of Congress must choose either to rubber-stamp the Obama administration’s foolish deal, or to vote no on the Iran deal and send a clear message to the White House and to the rest of the world that the United States will not prop up a terrorist regime that wants to destroy our country and our allies in the region.

It is our intention, through our presence on Capitol Hill on September 9, to help persuade members of Congress to take their constitutional duty seriously and reject Obama’s reckless deal. We hope you will join us in Washington and help amplify our message.

I think that horse is gone. Corker opened the gate. In the absence of US leadership on sanctions the international community has bolted and are already busy doing deals with Iran. It no longer matters if Congress blocks the agreement. It is now a nullity.

And remember, this is the way Congress wanted it.

Votes for and against the Corker Capitulation® to Iran

Began life as S.615. Later converted to H.1191.

In the House of Representatives;

In the Senate.

A cursory review of the rollcalls will show that the Corker Capitulation® was passed virtually unanimously. Those now ostentatiously braying that they are against the Iran agreement are lying. They knew when they passed this bill that it would make stopping the Iran agreement impossible. They are hoping you only look at the final meaningless grandstanding kabuki vote and not look back to May when they did the real dirty deed.

This benighted deal not only guarantees that Iran will obtain nuclear weapons and hold them over the heads of various nations (most especially the US), it also virtually guarantees the destruction of Israel - once upon a time our only reliable ally in the Middle East.

Now, of course, due to Obama’s idiotic foreign policy, we have NO reliable allies in the Middle East.

“Try explaining this to all the Christian “church lady men” who refuse to vote ....”

Thank you for saying that.

I still can’t get over those who stayed home and refused to vote for a Mormon so they allowed a Muslim to stay in office. (Or at the very least, a Muslim sympathizer, but I say Muslim.)

It is obvious to even the meanest of intelligences, that the US was sandbagged and sucker-punched, not only by the Iranians, but by our own negotiators, who couldn’t make a favorable deal down at the local very generous Toyota dealer. Iranians are supposed to be shrewd, but they aren’t THAT shrewd, they know a patsy when they see one.

And the US has become the world’s biggest patsy.

And we are suppose to say this is OK? By what standard? The deal itself stinks, and enforcement is not even discussed. Reward is made BEFORE compliance, is this like the Nobel “Peace Prize” that was awarded to the Current Occupant even BEFORE he had ever made any substantial decisions on ANY matter relating to “peace” anywhere?

Hussein seems poised to get a whole lot of what he wants with this deal. Iran will surely demonstrate its non compliance with a nuclear attack on Israel. The IDF will then retaliate and Iran will cease to be just as Israel has ceased to be as a defensible state and is swarmed by the arab neighbors. The Sunni Sultan will have thus eliminated the Jewish State and the Shia monster . That is surely his strategy. If, during its attack on Israel Teheran launches a side shot at DC and/or NY then all so much the better; the third great enemy suffers tremendous, perhaps fatal damage as Sultan Hussein is safely ensconced somewhere else playing a round of golf.

One hopes that Israel has an anti missile technology that the Sultan knows not yet of.

Including the fraud Ted Cruz who has the shameless guts to organize a rally against what he voted for, pretending he did nothing wrong.

If anything happens to Israel or anyone else as a result of this deal, may they all rot in hell

Kudos for the effort. Sorry for the pessimism but it is amazing that there are those still out there that believe those in DC can be made to listen or even give a crap about what the American people think or want. Unless and or until a few of them are severely punished as examples for abusing their office and committing crimes against the people, any efforts less than inflicting physical accountability are mere theatrics and worthless.

The horse is gone for sure if the people give up. Preaching defeat is never helpful. Rally behind those still trying to stop this.

It wasn’t because he was a Mormon, it was because better to have an enemy you know is an enemy than a Quisling like Romney who would pretend (like the congress) to be one thing while acting like another. I wish he could have been elected, but

I believe Israel has the best anti missile tech in the world and has for years. However, should the conflagration you describe come to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Izzies have let the Saudis know, through back channels, that there is a little ICBM with Riyadh’s name on it as part of the Samson option. And the Aswan dam too.

So you are one of the geniuses who stayed home because Romney didn’t meet your criteria. No compromise for you.
Thanks!!!!!

Grow up and live in the real world. Things are not always was we wish. I don’t mind being told to “get bent” by a raging idiot.
