The RNC will walk away from its nominee — See Virginia’s recent governor race. Ken Cuccinelli was a non-GOPe candidate who beat the GOPe one. As retribution the Virginia GOPe did not support him, resulting in RAT carpet-bagger McAuliff as governor.
