Specifically, there is a need for new laws protecting religious liberty rights – already enacted in North Carolina, Michigan and Texas – in all states. This statement is false. What is needed is for the government to follow the laws as written, not to invent new laws they will also ignore.

I agree with you. The appeal to religious freedom in this instance is a good incidental point, but the main crux is THE LAW. There has been NO LAW passed to mandate what these fascists are demanding. NONE AT ALL!
