Exactly. And it is disturbing how CSM sneers the word ... just like Jorge Ramos would. The Trump=Hitler/USA=Germany analogy FAILS completely in the year 2015.

Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it. Trump IS spouting a Nationalist message, much like the Germans of the 1920’s and 30’s. They were screaming for “bringing jobs back” and “improving the economy.” In fact, they had become so embittered by the Treaty of Versailles that they just wanted a leader that would “get back at those that put them in such a bad place.”
A charismatic speaker was able to seize this on frustration and play to the populist message, eventually gaining full control of the country. What did he immediately do? He enforced the gun ban legislated under the Weimer Republic, he demonized business owners, he was able to nationalize health care and he got back at his country’s detractors. That lead to Tyranny.
What is Trump doing? He is speaking with a jingoistic message of nationalism, he is carrying a message of “getting back at the detractors.” All the while he has donated to Bloomberg’s gun grabber movement, supported national health care, is currently promising to “hit hedge fund managers hard,” and is certainly making comments that are showing a hint of “getting back at the country’s detractors.”
Yes, this is a very dangerous situation and the fact that “conservatives” are willing to take such a risk is astounding to me. I would much prefer to have a devout Constitutionalist elected as POTUS and therefore not have such risks, but it appears that others simply don’t care about history.
Quite frankly, I am no more interested in a Tyrant with an R after his name than I am in a Tyrant with a D after her name.
