What is especially disgusting to me is that Cruz, the supposed brilliant constitutional lawyer and the FreeRepublic saint to conservatives signed away his constitutional right of veto right along with them.

The fact that he is holding this anti-Iran rally is about as hypocritical as it can be.

If he's so brilliant he must have known how devastating this could be to Israel. The man is an outright fraud of the highest order.

What he did by signing that bill is sacrilege in my opinion.

Did you happen to hear any of Rush today? For the first time ever, he was sounding like he'd actually be game for a new party. Or maybe I was reading that into it.

Talking about the vacuum left in the Conservative movement with the loss of Buckley, and those who are trying to fill those shoes being the kinds of people who write, and write, and write some more, but have never actually done Jack.

He didn't come out and say it but somehow it left me thinking "bow-tie dudes who like baseball". Is this what we've come to?

(BTW, more to the point of your post, I've never gotten a straight answer why 99 out of 100 Senators, including Ted Cruz, voted to stand the Constitution on it's head, and now the world, and particularly Israel, faces the consequences. Personally, I think that once Iran reaches what we now call "0 breakout time", they'll have an arsenal of strategic nukes stockpiled before we find out about it. The ICBMs they're probably negotiating with Vlad for even right now. IOW they'll be launching nuclear missiles at us even during John Kerry's (he served in Vietnam, you know) lifetime. )
