Like me, you probably voted for Barack Obama, were outraged by the verdicts in the Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases. You even work hard to check your white privilege at the door when going to a #blacklivesmatter protest march.

Like it or not, White superiority is well defended and protected. It may be unintentional. It's likely unconscious. Without more introspection and sincere interaction, the racism train keeps rolling.
Right now, you might feel angry and misjudged.
Maybe you're a white liberal shaking your head, feeling slighted and angered by the lack of acknowledgement, regarding your efforts and accomplishments concerning racial sensitivity. After all, white liberals are the white folks who really get it. Right?
Wrong. This is, in fact, another microinvalidation. Beverly and Pendler call that particular microaggression "attack by racial resume." We say, "Look at all the work I've done on behalf of people of color! I'm one of the good ones!"

The definition of racism is changing.
Once racism was a negative action or attitude towards other races. Now simply being different, whether you are aware of it or not, is racist. If another person senses that you are different, whether you are or not, is racism on your part.
The answer is "yes."

Enacting Jim Crow Laws
Forming the KKK
Terrorizing Blacks into not voting
Turning a blind eye to the lynching of blacks.

The worst and I mean the very most pervasive is believing that a minority individual cannot achieve success unless a white individual, group or society in general(government) provides assistance or support. Liberals say we must help the minority, but what they never admit is that they believe the individual is inferior and therefore must have help to prosper.
