Trump attacks Jeb for speaking Spanish

Jeb Bush should speak English while he is in the United States, Donald Trump said Wednesday, in the latest escalation of the brewing feud between the two Republican candidates.

“I like Jeb,” the real estate mogul said in an interview with Breitbart News. “He’s a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States.”

In the same interview, Trump declared that he would not only win in 2016 but also win reelection in 2020, and will be known as a "great conservative" like Ronald Reagan.

Trump's latest reported remark follows Bush's comments in Florida this week in which he has called his rival "not a conservative" and said that Trump tries to make everything personal.

"El hombre no es conservador," Bush told reporters in Miami

You know, Trump is right on this. How the heck can Hispanic immigrants expect to reach full participation in economic life if they only speak Spanish? For those who are not bilingual he is sending us a message that he is better than us, that what he says to them we don’t need to know and that they can continue in their culture and we all have to assimilate, not them. I hadn’t thought of it before. I don’t think that applies to someone of Hispanic decent like Rubio or Cruz. From Bush, it seems like grandstanding and pandering.

How does one come of age in a famous family, with money, in beautiful-woman-rich Texas, yet only find a homely English-illiterate Mexican dwarf to marry?

The elites prefer that immigrants, preferably illegal, not learn English so they can be exploited more efficiently.

Trump nails it again! Once more he's hammering on a PC protected issue, that has till now be quarantined to places like Free Republic.

1) Jeb claimed to be "Hispanic" on his Florida voter registration:

"Jeb Bush is not Hispanic, despite indicating otherwise..." - tampabay.com
2) Jeb has chosen Spanish and not English as be the primary language used in his home:
"Jeb Bush Says He Speaks 'More Spanish Than English At Home'"
But the GOPe only wants to talk of the mental disorder of Democrats like Elizabeth Warren claiming to be Native American and Rachel Dolezal claiming she was Black.

Let's not talk about Jeb's Hispanic version of the same disorder.

Didn’t sound like an “attack” to me - more of an observation on Trump’s part.

Hispanic immigrants are not like the other groups of immigrants who have come to this country. They are here for the bennies, and nothing else. They don't want to be Americans; they want to live as if they were still in their native country. And, they want us to accept that.

No other immigrant group has ever behaved like this. They have tried to fit in, and they have succeeded. Asians being the prime example. And, they are unpopular because they have done so; at least by other immigrant groups.

America speaks English. Get with the program. If you want to only speak in Spanish -- go home and do so; but, do not expect me to learn your language when I am in my home country.

Like most people from SW Texas, I’ve spoken Spanish as a 2nd language from early childhood-because ranching, other business, and tourists do commerce on both sides of the border-I don’t speak Spanish every day, and I don’t know a single person who does not speak English well.

I’ve never heard people in Miami-who happen to be of Cuban ancestry, not Mexican-don’t speak English, so I don’t get why Jeb the RINO was speaking Spanish in Miami, unless he was talking to someone from a Spanish language paper or TV network-Telemundo is based in Miami, but most of they even air English language ads...

Don’t forget the muslims-they are already isolating in their own neighborhoods in big cities, refusing to interact, all dressed up in their burkas and hijabs, and want to bring sharia law...

He is speaking Spanitch to show how cool he is
And to try and impress the Latinos that he is one of them

This is why the crack RNC politicos think Jeb is their winning ticket
Because Latinos will vote for a pandering gringo
/s

Yanquis, sit down

I’m of Latino ancestry-I’d never vote for a panderer of any variety, neither would anyone in my family-and I don’t know anyone who would. There is nothing “cool” about doing stuff like that-it reminds me of how Bill Clinton pandered to blacks by pretending to have been poor, etc-he didn’t wear it well, and neither does Jeb-someone needs to tell him he comes off as being patronizing when he does that s***, and the people I know do NOT like that...
