Too often, people don’t like to hear what they truly need to hear.
Discretion can be wise at times and where you are.
While Carsons lead more than doubled, hes still a distant second place with the rest of the GOP field behind him. Not that Jeb lost a bit as both Cruz and Fiorina gained.
Heres the info on the poll:
Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, conducted a random survey of 3,567 registered voters across the U.S. regarding the presidential election. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2%. The total may not equal exactly 100% due to rounding. The polls were conducted on August 21-22 using interactive voice response, IVR, technology and weighted separately for each population in the question presented.

I was tempted to yell Viva Trump as I walked by, but noticed a couple of them had nail guns.I'll bet they couldn't drive a 16d nail with a hammer if their life depended on it.
Of course, but it runs deeper than that.
Have you noticed that the RESULTS of all these zillions of polls and surveys are announced regularly and breathlessly...but does anyone ever see what the QUESTIONS were?
I never see 'em!
The way polls turn out depends almost entirely how the questions are framed. Clever, subtle survey questions by biased poll-takers can skew the results in any way they desire.
I don't even see many, if any, freepers questioning the questions when they hear or read the poll results.

You believe an ABC Poll??????? A lot of those people never vote, let alone vote Republican. Trump is polling better among Hispanics than MANY other candidates. Poll is more RINO/Liberal trashing of Trump.
Saw a poll about 48 hours ago, that depicted Trump turning his negatives almost in reverse of what they were about six weeks to two months ago.
Now you post this one that seems to differ widely.
You add that to the realization that polls can be run to obtain any outcome you want, and it gets hard for anyone to take them seriously.
Folks will see what they want in a candidate. All these polls and stories about past history won’t move people at all.
They believe what they see right in front of them.
I’m not convinced that is wrong.
I knew exactly what Obama meant by “Hope and Change”.
He lived down to it.
I know exactly what Trump means by “Make America Great Again”.
He’ll live up to it.
With the table on the poll you listed, it looks like we can eliminate all but 7 easily.
You can't be serious.
I only trust a politician’s record of what he does—not what he says. There are too many people dependent on government for incomes, and that allows socialists to have too much influence in politics. Cutting spending to de-fund many of them is priority number 1.
Sure I can. The main people who dislike Trump are Dem zombies and e-GOP drones. So they're like, what, 25% of the population, tops?
“With the table on the poll you listed, it looks like we can eliminate all but 7 easily.”
They and Trump basically have eliminated them.
