Pardon my ignorance and confusion, but:
1. How is 34 votes out of 100 significant?
2. If this is now a done deal, is next week’s Cruz/Trump rally an exercise in futility, if not cancelled.
I might be wrong about this, but the HOuse and Senate will vote to veto the Iran agreement. Obama will veto the bill, and the Senate will not be able to over ride it.
34 votes means that the Senate cannot override Obama’s veto.
