What a FKDUP system the Senate is....that in a “democracy” it only takes “34 VOTES” out of 100 to commit the country to a DISASTER!!!!!!

Personal story: the very first time I ever visited the House gallery was in 1977, a newlywed trip to DC that was a graduation present to me from my new bride. All I remember of the gallery visit was that there was this short woman who was speaking to a nearly empty chamber about the “Mikulski substitute” for some bill, and figuring out that she was speaking about her own bill.
She has spent the last two generations in DC, turning 80 next year. She isn’t running for Senate re-election, and the GOP isn’t going to get her seat unless it were to run a RINO who might as well be a Dem, so politically all of this is kabuki theater.
Bibi should call them out by name as traitors to the Jewish state!
A treaty requires the approval of 2/3 of the Senate to ratify it.
However, the Senate voted to treat the Iran Nuke deal as an “agreement” not a treaty, which is valid unless Obama’s agreement is overruled by 2/3 of the Senate, thus reversing the Constitutional requirement of treaty ratification by 180 degrees, and guaranteeing that Obama would have free reign on this deal.
Now, the Republicans who voted to set up this reversal of the Constitutional requirement can still vote against it to claim back home that they were against it all along, but they will do so knowing that it will be approved with their blessing on the Corker bill (the name of the bill abrogating the Senate’s Constitutional duties).
They do so thinking that we are all idiots, but a few of us actually read out hear in the land of the peons.
Every Senator voting for the Corker bill should be ashamed.
So, 34 is important because it kills the veto effort and lets the Obama horse have free reign.
34 is important because Iran will now have Nukes with the US’s blessing.
34 is important because billions of dollars will flow to Iran to finance their terrorism around the world.]

I just sent this E-Mail to Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee.
“You and the rest of the Republicans set up a win for Obama on the Iran deal. Your accommodation of Obama will lead to a nuclear war someday. No thanks to you for giving up the two-thirds vote to pass a treaty. The American people are waking up to your self serving traitorous actions.”
For once I find myself agreeing with Barry and the Wookie, I am ashamed of my country.
This is a treason. It is a treaty, period. The president can’t simply give it another name to push it through on a technicality. But because we have traitors in the senate, I guess we just have to eat this crap sandwich.
One more thing, CRUZ VOTED FOR THIS! I’m sick of people ripping Trump because he has leaned liberal on some things in his past. Cruz voted to make this crap happen a few months ago. Why did he support this???
Want to bet her deal includes not Dem party support for opposition in her re-election?

There are 34 treasonous Senators in the USA Congress.
Charges should be brought against all of them over this Iran deal, with Obama also charged.
This is a monumental mistake.
Obama thought that ISIS was ‘the junior varsity’. Now we see them destroying 2000 +++ year old antiquities. This is beyond shameful & there is NOT a PEEP out of Obama’s office or administration.
Obama’s ability to judge enemies is seriously flawed.

Well, that is simply wonderful of Senator Mikulski to put the efforts to “sabotage” the Current Occupant into a lockbox, and put “paid” on the fate of Israel.

The intellectual heirs to the Nazis are all to be found throughout Islam, where “Mein Kampf”, translated into Arabic, is almost as big a best-seller as the Koran itself.
One need not be a Nazi for the objectives of that ideology to be their personal ideal.
The significance of 34 votes, is that is MORE than a third of the Senate. It takes a two-thirds vote in both Houses of Congress to override the expected veto by the Current Occupant.
The next benchmark is 41 votes to end cloture, and effectively KILL legislation in the Senate, before it ever gets to the White, er, “Rainbow”, Hut.
Bill Nelson’s (D-FL) office is on board with iran getting the bomb.
the female staffer that answered the phone said iran is allowed to pursue nuclear energy for cleaner/more efficient power and medical research (?!!).
she said the deal is the best way to insure iran never gets the bomb.
when i pointed out the best way to insure that would be to block any research in the field, she said they were a sovereign country and we have no jurisdiction to stop them.
i laughed pretty hard at that one
