Police break into the wrong home, shoot the unarmed homeowner, kill the homeowner's dog and shoot each other.

I’d call it “The Trifecta” except the cops did [at least] FOUR stupid and illegal things.

Bad story all around.
Feel REALLY bad for the dog and his owner.
The city should be sued HARD for this!
What kind of training do these cops get, anyway, or are they extra skittish these days because of all the cop killings?

The GBI said that the initial investigation shows that the house the three officers entered was unrelated to the initial 911 call and that investigators have found no evidence of criminal activity in the home the officers entered. Correction: "Investigators have found no evidence of criminal activity in the home UNTIL the officers entered"...

If they didn’t have a correct address, it doesn’t seem smart to just go in a home shooting. And the owner didn’t even have a gun.

Which last I find surprising, given the area.

The GBI said that the initial investigation shows that the house the three officers entered was unrelated to the initial 911 call and that investigators have found no evidence of criminal activity in the home the officers entered. And yet... the homeowner is shot, an officer is shot by his parter, and the family pet is dead. WHY?!?

Judging from the names of the officers, I suspect at least two of the cops were Holder’s People as well which explains why the race pimps are not screaming bloody hell about this.
Still, you get a 9-1-1 call with an inspecific address and this is how you respond?

No.
The homeowner did not lock his door, allowing the cops in.
That is entrapment!

Same thing happened in the Dallas area, homeowner responded to hearing people in his garage, was shot by the police. Officer in that case was, at last time I heard, being investigated for homicide as, once again, facts didn’t match the officer’s account.

Police break into the wrong home, shoot the unarmed homeowner, kill the homeowner's dog and shoot each other. And will face absolutely NO serious personal consequences for their actions. The innocent homeowner won't even get his medical bills paid for - going by the precedent set last year by the swat team that raided a house on bad information and burned off part of a toddler's face with one of their grenades.

I don’t think that particular toddler burning has been settled in civil court yet. I believe the hospital bills weren’t paid because of the fear by the county legal that would be an admission of guilt or culpability.
The county involved will end up paying big time for it, IMO.

However, all hope is not lost. The dickless Tracy who did most of the falsifying is under federal investigation.

“At least they got the dog?”
And it only took 48 bullets and multiple gun shot wounds to themselves and others.

Even if the police had found evidence of a crime, none of it would be admissible in court, since it would have been obtained illegally.
