N. Korea firmly sides with Syria, and naturally against ISIS. They have been very close. N. Koreans helped Syrians build a nuclear reactor, which Israeli airforce destroyed. If the situation in N. Korea were better, N. Korea could have even dispatched ground troops to fight alongside Syrians.
